Meditation – You are invited….

Without meditation, where is peace?

Without peace, where is happiness?

Hindu saying

Do you say?

“I don’t know, I don’t have time to meditate”,

“How can I be so selfish to take time away from my family and go sit in a corner for hours?”

“What if I can’t do it? I’ve tried to meditate in the past, it never worked!”

Okay, all of those seemingly valid reasons aren’t reasons at all, they are your fears talking. Let’s go through them one by one.

“I don’t know, I don’t have time to meditate”.

Do you have time to watch a sitcom each week? A sitcom is 30 minutes of mindless “entertainment”.

The average person watches 4 hours of television per day. During the 10 week program, your weekly meditation class will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

You can find 90 minutes in your week to let go of stress and tension.

“How can I be so selfish to take time away from my family and go sit in a corner for hours?”

This is a common thought, especially for mums and dads who have children who need your care and attention. But, when you’re calm, everybody benefits.

So, taking 90 minutes to get calm and clear is the opposite of a selfish act, it helps you better cope with all of your responsibilities.

Also, at no point will you be required to sit in meditation for hours.

The Meditation weekly program starts off with just 90 minutes of once a week meditation.

“What if I can’t do it? I’ve tried to meditate in the past, it never worked!”

The best way to learn anything is with guidance and support, both of which you’ll have during the 10 week Meditation course.

I have been running a Meditation class for over 15 years and reach people in my local area, but am now feeling very excited to invite you to my new VIRTUAL online class using the advanced technology of Zoom, So wherever you are, I will be live every Thursday at 8pm until 9.30pm.  The course starts Thursday 12th January and completes on Thursday 16th March.

After you register, you will in due course receive an email with the link necessary to join the class on Thursday 12th January at 8pm.

Consistency is so important when establishing a meditation practice as meditation is a way of finding your self!

I will be leading you through your meditations.  No matter if you are new to this or have done it before, I will lead you and put time and effort into helping you along at your own pace.

It is important not to get discouraged even if you don’t get the hang of it right away, which is why I ask you to commit to a 10-week course.  It will become easier with time and effort, as it takes practice and dedication.

Meditation is not only a way of finding yourself, but with the pressures of today many people are experiencing high stress and meditation has been known to relieve stress.

I want each of you to know that we are giving ourselves a very precious gift by taking time each week to put ourselves into meditating and sharing time with other people that will relieve stress and the all the daily pressures we go through.

These are the health factors that meditation has been known to help:

ALLERGIES

ANXIETY

ARTHRITIS

ASTHMA

CANCER

CHRONIC PAIN

DEPRESSION

BI-POLAR

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

HEART DISEASE

TESTIMONIAL

“Meditation has helped me to form all my other habits, it’s helped me to become more peaceful, more focused, less worried, more grateful and aware to everything in my life. I’m far from perfect, but it has helped me come a long way.” Fi Hills, London

I look forward to seeing you online!

Heather
